A skillet of diced turkey breast with potato, zucchini, and carrot, finished with parsley.

Ingredients

  • 300 g turkey breast
  • 450 g potatoes, pre-cooked
  • 350 g zucchini and carrot
  • 1 tsp rapeseed oil or mild olive oil
  • 2 tbsp parsley or dill
  • 1 pinch salt

Method

  1. Cook the potatoes, pre-cooked according to the packet directions or until tender.
  2. Cut the zucchini and carrot into small pieces. Pat the turkey breast dry and season lightly.
  3. Warm the oil gently in a non-stick pan, cook the turkey breast without heavy browning and remove.
  4. Soften the zucchini and carrot with two tablespoons of water, then fold in the potatoes, pre-cooked and turkey breast.
  5. Finish with herbs and serve warm.

Why this recipe is gentle

Lean turkey and a single teaspoon of oil keep the fat low, and the vegetables are softened with a splash of water instead of frying hard. There is no onion, garlic, tomato, or spice, only parsley and a pinch of salt.

General information, not medical advice or a treatment claim. Reactions are individual. If heartburn or reflux is frequent, severe or persistent, see a doctor.

Tips

  • Cook the turkey gently without a dark crust to keep it easy to tolerate.
  • Fat level and portion size both matter, so keep servings moderate.
  • Pat the turkey dry before cooking so it stays tender rather than tough.
