A potato and cucumber salad with a creamy dressing and dill in a light bowl.

Ingredients

  • 500 g waxy potatoes, boiled
  • 1/2 cucumber, peeled
  • 120 g lactose-free cottage cheese
  • 3 tbsp mild vegetable stock with cottage cheese
  • 1 tbsp chopped dill or parsley
  • 1 pinch salt

Method

  1. Prepare the base as described and allow it to become lukewarm.
  2. Cut the cucumber, peeled into small pieces or steam gently.
  3. Whisk the mild dressing with the herbs until smooth.
  4. Toss everything lightly, season gently and serve fresh.

Why this recipe is gentle

Skipping vinegar, mustard, and raw onion removes some of the sharpest, most common triggers. Waxy potatoes and peeled cucumber are mild, and the lactose-free cottage cheese keeps the dressing lighter.

General information, not medical advice or a treatment claim. Reactions are individual. If heartburn or reflux is frequent, severe or persistent, see a doctor.

Tips

  • Peel the cucumber, and steam it briefly if raw cucumber feels harder to digest.
  • Serve the salad lukewarm rather than cold.
  • Keep the seasoning light and skip vinegar or mustard entirely.
